JavaScript Job: Backend Developer

Vybe Network is seeking a driven, strategic, technology-focused and user-centric developer to join their team. As a backend developer, a successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, test, and deployment of the services that power Vybe’s applications.

A successful candidate will be a python wizard and be able to pull data from any source and store effectively in the required DBs.

The successful individual will have a strong track record of helping to deliver an effective, highly available, and flexible technology platform in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.

Responsibilities

● Build data pipelines using python to pull data from Solana, transform and store in required DBs.

● Architect data systems with Ops and bigdata team

● Optimize databases for fast reads

● Communicate with other Defi founders to extract useful analytical opportunities

● Use best practices to deliver high quality code; Unit-test code for robustness including edge cases, usability, and general

reliability

● Implement new features and optimize existing ones from draft to implementation

● Work with stakeholders, both internal and external, to determine different use cases and come up with creative solutions

Experience & Education

● At least 8 years of experience with Python( concurrency, threading, and high performance )

● At least 6 years experience with DBs, preferably postgres or big data DBs

● Experience building in web3 ecosystems. Ethereum, polygon or solana.

● Ability to read and understand undocumented source code.

● Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes(Bonus)

• Some experience with Javascript/Typescript preferred, not mandatory

● Open-source contributions and management

● Ability and willingness to learn new languages/frameworks in relation to specific protocol needs

Salary: $110,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
